Dr. Nadav Nevo is one of the only surgeons in Israel with a dedicated fellowship in abdominal wall surgery, and expertise across all three surgical approaches — open, laparoscopic and robotic. He is among the few surgeons in the country performing a fully laparoscopic diastasis recti repair — a minimally invasive technique he applies and refines.

Dr. Nevo graduated from the Universita degli Studi di Perugia, Italy, and completed three accumulated fellowships in abdominal wall surgery — covering the open, minimally invasive, and robotic approaches. He is certified to operate within the European Union and is an active member of the European Hernia Society (EHS) and the Israeli Society for Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery (ISHAWS).

Dr. Nevo leads the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Unit at Sheba Medical Center, Tel HaShomer (Ranked #7 Worldwide, Newsweek 2026; top 10 for five consecutive years), and also operates at Assuta Medical Center Tel Aviv and Raphael Hospital. He has published over 24 articles in peer-reviewed international surgical journals, authored over 3 chapters in surgical textbooks, and serves as co-editor of the Minerva textbook on robotic surgery. He lectures at conferences worldwide.
